This all makes much more sense when you consider that Stratasys developed the Mojo before they purchased Makerbot, which gives them far more breadth in the sub-$10k market. 1

3' online The reliability really is key My FDM 1600 is an absolute fossil, having debuted in 1996, but it has the reliability of an anvil.. And i would be interested to see if the comparison i linked at the bottom is indicative of all stratasys printers in the 8-20000 range. HERE

A 127x127x127mm build volume on a printer thats 64 x 53 x 46 cm in size and 26 kg in weight.. The Mojo specifically is quite an enigma - it's not a P-class or T-class machine, it has no internal OS, and connects to a PC via USB rather than ethernet.. Reliability as in: You can walk away from it When you print something, you know the next day it is going to be completed.. At this point, you'd be insane to want a Mojo instead of moving up to a uPrint or moving down to something in the Makerbot line (or far better, a competing product, given the Gen5 issues they've had). The fortus 400 does look like it uses some interesting materials, but what is with the size to BV of stratasys printers? Its as tall as me but only has a print area a bit bigger than 25cm cubed. cea114251b http://frentarake.tistory.com/5
Stratasys Catalystex Software DownloadStratasys Catalystex Software DownloadSo browsing robosavys online store (best selection of 3d printers i've seen) i came across stratasys' offering.. The Insight software is superb, and I can't imagine buying anything from the Dimension series given the feeble Catalyst EX software used there.. It cost $100,000 new, and I picked it up on craigslist a few years ago for precisely 1% of the original price.. Thats the thing, i can't imagine where they would ever become worth the cost Reliability can be created with backup parts and redundancies for far less than 8000.. At that price range (200000 usd) i cant imagine why you wouldn't use a different printing technology as well, an objet or similar perhaps . HERE
